What the free app is for

That is usually enough for quick modelling, homework feedback, showing a worksheet, running a practical demo, or sharing a physical page in an online lesson.

When other free tools may be enough

If you only need to show a webcam feed, your operating system's camera app may be fine. If you are producing a livestream with multiple scenes, OBS may be the better tool. VisualizerApp sits between those: simpler than broadcast software, but more classroom-focused than a basic camera viewer.

The difference is the teaching workflow. Freeze frames, annotation, split view, overlays, labels, and presenter tools matter when you are explaining something live, not just showing a camera feed.

What Pro adds

A realistic note

Browser software cannot change the physical limits of your camera. A poor webcam will still need good light. A phone may give a better image but needs a steady stand. A dedicated document camera can still be the nicest option for a permanent room setup.
