Key Features of VisualizerApp
How Pro saves time in a typical lesson
Capture
Point your camera at student work and press Space. Each capture is saved to the deck.
Label
Click the label under each thumbnail to type the student’s name. Takes two seconds.
Compare
Press 5 for the Student Work layout — four labelled frames side by side for class discussion.
Export
One click exports a multi-page PDF with student names on every page. Ready for marking or sharing.
This workflow runs inside Presenter Mode — your students see a clean projector view while you capture, label, and export. Try it now
Document Camera Mode
Turn any webcam (or phone camera in v2) into a document camera with one-click document mode for enhanced text and diagrams. Adjust sharpness, contrast, and brightness so everything is easy to read on the screen or projector.
Freeze, Annotate & Save
Capture live frames, freeze them, then annotate using all tools including pen, highlighter, text, lines, arrows, rectangles, and ellipses. Undo, clear, and save annotated images for worksheets, screenshots, or lesson notes. v2 supports storing multiple frames in memory at once.
Split View Comparison
Compare your live camera feed side-by-side with a frozen snapshot using a draggable divider. Great for before/after demonstrations, answer reveals, and step-by-step explanations.
Short Video & Loop Recording
Record short clips directly in the browser (up to 2 minutes on Free; up to 5 minutes on Pro) or use loop recording to continuously capture the last 20 seconds (Free) or 30s/1m/2m (Pro). Ideal for quick demos, step-by-step explanations, and capturing the moment after it happens. No uploads – just save locally.
Powerful Visual Controls
Zoom, rotate, keystone correct, and flip horizontal/vertical. Switch profiles such as high contrast, grayscale, or inverted, and add a vignette or spotlight highlight to draw attention to the important part of the page.
Math Overlays & STEM Tools
Add graph paper, dot grids, or math axes over the live camera view. Use the ruler overlay for quick measurement; Pro adds protractor, compass circle, and angle tools.
Designed for Classrooms & Demos
Built with teaching and demos in mind: multi-camera support, best-effort refocus, an on-screen timer panel (in v2), a pointer-follow spotlight mode, and a revised tool bar layout.
Presenter Mode (Pro)
Open a clean, distraction-free output window for projectors or Zoom screen-share. Switch between Live, Freeze, Whiteboard, and Blackboard scenes with one keypress. Draw annotations directly on the presenter canvas with a radial tool wheel, and each scene keeps its own drawings separately.
Student Work & Frame Deck (Pro)
Capture student work with one click inside Presenter Mode, label each frame with the student’s name, and show four at once in the Student Work layout. Arrow keys page through groups of four. Drag to reorder, then export the whole deck as a PDF with student names on every page.
Works With Any Camera – No Brand Lock-in
Unlike manufacturer software that only works with their own hardware, VisualizerApp is completely brand-independent. Use any USB webcam, built-in laptop camera, or wirelessly connect your phone. Switch cameras freely – your software keeps working no matter what hardware you choose, replace, or upgrade.
